Today's recipe is my favorite fall and winter post-workout smoothie.
With rolled oats and whey protein, it's a great way to kick off the day.
Recipe
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 apple, cored
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 scoop vanilla whey protein
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or two pitted dates
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 5-6 ice cubes
Instructions
- Place ingredients in a high powdered blender in order listed and blend until smooth. If using a Vitamix, I recommend running the "Smoothie" setting twice.
- Enjoy!
